How to set up Cross Blocking for your Google Ads accounts

Cross blocking enables you to propagate IP exclusions across multiple Google Ads accounts / campaigns that you would like to protect against click fraud. For example, if you had an IP address that has been excluded from one Google Ads account, it will then be excluded from all of the Google Ads accounts that have Cross Blocking enabled.

The following guide will show you how to successfully enable Cross Blocking for your Google Ads accounts.

Step 1 - Navigate to Google Ads Accounts within the Setup section of Click Guardian.

Step 2 - Click on the settings cog next to the first Google Ads account that you have linked and ensure that Cross Blocking is not enabled.

Step 3 - Click on the settings cog for all of the subsequent Google Ads account's that you have linked and ensure that Cross Blocking is enabled.
